GOVERNING BODY
The University Council
This is the governing body and principal policy-making organ of the University.
The membership represents a cross section of people interested in the promotion of higher education.
The University Senate
The University has a Senate, which is the principal overall decision-making organ in respect of all the academic work of the University – in terms of teaching, research and community service.
Executive Offices
The organization structure consists primarily of the central administration and campus colleges. While the University central administration is responsible for strategic decision making and policy matters, most of the other routine matters and decisions are made at lower levels. In this respect, the colleges operate semi-autonomously. University functions are performed by Directors at University level, Principals at College level and Deans at School level assisted by administrative officers.
