The LASER Research Team Constituted of the UDOM faculty engages stakeholders in the dissemination meeting of the Tanzania SEL Project in Zanzibar, on 24th April 2023 the official opening was done by the Minister for Education and Vocational Training Hon. Lela Mohammed who thanked USAID funding to the Project for creating evidence as they will inform policy and practices for improved learning outcomes.

" I promise you and and the USAID that findings would fill the gaps in the existing education system as the government of the 8th phase led by Dr. Mwinyi is transforming and findings are key to the process "

At the noon, the dissemination workshop attendees here visited by the permanent Secretary for Ministry of Education and Vocational Training Hon. Hamis Said who thanked researchers and the USAID for the project; he insisted on the importance of the evidence use to improve education planning resource allocation and Practices.

To him research findings generated through this project are inputs to the ongoing educational reforms in the Island with emphasis on the promotion of life skills from pre primary to laya strong foundations for future learning
