UDOM LAUNCHES THE DOCTORAL SEMINARS ROOMS

On 8th June, 2023, The Vice Chancellor Prof. Lughano Kusiluka graced an occasion of the launching of Doctoral Seminars Room at School of Nursing and Public Health under the project Strengthening Doctoral Education for Health in Tanzania (DOCEHTA).

Speaking during the launching ceremony, The Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic, Research and Consultancy Prof. Razack Lokina urged PhD students to utilize the room to its fullest potential in order to enhance the quality of their doctoral studies at UDOM. He said the University of Dodoma management is ready to provide any support that would be necessary to accommodate improvements that will be brought about by project.

In his launching speech, the Vice Chancellor congratulate project team members for their tireless efforts in securing funding for the project whose goal is to guarantee that people in Tanzania have access to good health in an equitable manner through strengthening research capability in health through Quality PhD Training. He added that the DOCEHTA project has made a substantial impact on the overall quality of PhD training in the Schools of Nursing and Public Health and Medicine and Dentistry.

The launched Doctoral Seminars Room is furnished with both Ethernet and WiFi connectivity and the computers will be installed with Software for Online teaching and learning, Data analysis and referencing.
