The College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS) is among the founding Colleges of the University of Dodoma (UDOM).  It was established in August 2008 as the result of upgrading and combining the two schools of Humanities and Social Sciences to College level.   Due to its relatively large size the College was split into two Colleges; leading to the establishment of the   new College of Business Studies and Law (2016/2017); Currently College of Business and Economics and School of Law.
